And So it Begins

I still insist that Timothy doesn’t crawl.

That being said, he can move himself around a bit.

And so it begins. A minute later he tried to close the drawer on his fingers.

Tomoe’s crawling a lot, but her current stage is standing on her own for up to 2 minutes. However, she loses her balance and has whacked her face on the side of her bed a couple of times, with bruises under both eyes at the same time. Her legs are getting more coordinated, so walking should come pretty soon, I think.

But I think the biggest milestone is that she’s now communicating with us. In particular, she reaches her arms up when she wants to be picked up.

I saw the pics of her bruises, poor Tomoe…
Timothy can stand unsupported for a couple of seconds – but he spends a lot of the time standing, leaning against something. he has this little plastic table with music buttons – he pushes it around like a walker, zooming across the room. Well, not zooming but… moving 🙂

Ah, we don’t have anything Tomoe can push around the room. However, she does a lot of walking around her bed. It’s about the safest place for her to play, too.
