Second half of the day started with a poop-full diaper. Timothy used his nap time to take care of that. I heard that poop takes longer to happen on the potty, so I am ok with that (and even expected that).
We kept feeding him watermelon to ensure plenty of teaching opportunities.
There was one instance when he got too absorbed in lego and peed a sea under him, but all other times he either got to the potty on time or peed just a bit before peeing on the potty.
For a while it felt like he was holding the pee. He pressed his knees together, once a bit of pee even ran down his leg, but each time he sat on the potty, he produced just a few drops.
But then he finally let go. I promised him the big bumblebee sticker if he peed a lot 🙂
He peed 11 times on the potty today. Two were really more like drops than pee, but still a victory!
There were 3 total misses, 2 of which were the very first pees of the day before he got it.
And he was soooo proud each time he did it. We cheered and danced and he jumped and danced and chanted: Timothy peed in the potty, dazed with his ability 🙂
He chose his sippy cup as the sticker recipient and it looked like a real trophy by the end of the day 🙂
